Album: September 29, 2002 Renaissance Faire, Marin County
The Renaissance Faire features crafts, theater, dancing, comedy, and finally people dressed up, talking and acting like it was the Renaissance. We went once before several years ago. This Faire was smaller and had less going on. But, it was a beautiful day and we enjoyed just being out in the nice weather!

Album: September 21, 2002 Photo Day: To/From Half Moon Bay, Pescadero Beach, San Mateo Memorial Park, La Honda
There are just some times when I have to hit the road and visit the redwood tress at the San Mateo Memorial Park. I made a Photo Day out of the trip this time. I took photos on the drive to and from the park, as well as stopping to buy a sandwich in Half Moon Bay, to eat lunch at Pescadero Beach, and to get a bottle of water in La Honda on the drive home. I certainly DO NOT advocate taking photos while driving. It is dangerous.

The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association puts on several classic car shows throughout the year at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, California.

Album: August 4, 2002 Photo Day: Santa Cruz
The main attraction in Santa Cruz is its boardwalk, which has rides for kids and adults as well as a large game arcade. It also has a beach, swimming, and surfing.

Album: July 4, 2002 Port of Oakland Park
This is a small park in the Port of Oakland. The park overlooks the large cranes used to load and unload ships. At the end of a walkway, there is a fishing pier from which the San Francisco skyline and the Bay Bridge can be seen.

Album: July 4, 2002 San Leandro July 4th Annual Get Together - Classic Car Show
Each July 4th, the City of San Leandro hold a small Get Together featuring music, food, and a classic car show in a small court near the Oakland border.

Album: June 30, 2002 SF Gay Pride Parade
The City of San Francisco hosts the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgendered (aka Gay Pride) Parade the last weekend in June each year. The parade is followed by a festival with multiple music stages, food, and beautiful weather.

Album: June 28, 2002 New Hogan Lake
New Hogan Lake, Calaveras County, California - Jet skiing, fishing, camping, water skiing. We've been visiting the lake during summers since 1986. There were a few years, however, we didn't go at all because one or the other of us was too busy with work or college classes or other things just got in the way. This summer (2002), we're trying to go to Hogan's every frequently. I'm loving it.
